Make an End Screen

To make an End screen (S),  click on the Create menu at the top left of the Event Specification Table.  Select "Support" and then "Goodbye Screen."  Now there should be a four events (rows) in the Event Specification Table.  This new event will temporarily be called "New Goodbye Screen Event."

Change the label to  "End Screen."  In the column labeled "Variable," enter "EndScreen" (all one word) and fill in the other columns.  
 
Scroll down to the Instrument Construction Area.  At the top left, you will see the event name "End Screen."  In the text box below it, enter "Thank you for your participation in this experiment.  We were interested in finding out whether people's perceptions of a person's physical attractiveness are influenced by other information that they know about the person.  Some of you saw an attractive picture and some of you saw an unattractive picture.  Some of you saw the person described as average in intelligence and others of you saw the person described as high in intelligence.  We are comparing participants in the different conditions to see if they rated the person differently on attractiveness."
