Suggested Approach to This Tutorial

1. Before starting into this tutorial, click here to run the sample protocol that was based on it to see what the protocol does. This run will be for Treatment Group 1 (of four treatment groups).

2. Before you do anything else in this tutorial, as in opening the ProtoGenie Composer/Editor, click on the link labeled CONTENTS and browse the headings of the topics in this tutorial. Then click on the WELCOME link and browse the separate pages from beginning to end by clicking on the Next button at the top of each page. You can move back a page by clicking on Previous link and you can go to a selected topic by clicking on the CONTENTS link again.

3. After you have a general feel for what is in the tutorial by browsing it, you are now ready to learn about the design of the example study and to begin the actual construction of the protocol that executes the data collection.
