The "Instructions screen" is called a Support Event.  To make this screen (see the "S" in red font above), click on the Make & Edit Events tab and note the six column table called Event Specification Table.

Click on the Create menu at the top left of the Event Specification Table.  Select "Support" and then "Guidance."  The event label "New Guidance Event" should appear under the Event Label in the Event Specification Table.  Click on this temporary name and change it to "Instruction Screen."  Leave the other column entries as is.

Scroll down to the Instrument Construction Area*.   On the top left, you will see the event name "Instruction Screen."  In the text field below the name, enter:

"Thank you for agreeing to participate in this experiment.  You will be presented a screen containing a picture of a person with a description of that person.  View that screen and answer the question under it. When finished, click Right Arrow."

Preview this event for proper functioning by clicking on the Preview Event button at the top right of the Instrument Construction Area.

*Note that the Instrument Construction Area window is a floating window, so that you can reposition it on your screen.  For example, to move it up, click anywhere on the top bar and drag it while holding down the mouse.  When you leave this page and return, it will remember this position.
