Make a Measurement For All SPSM Events

            Treatment Group 1          S          T1M          S      
            Treatment Group 2          S          T2M          S
            Treatment Group 3          S          T3M          S
            Treatment Group 4          S          T4M          S

Since all of the measurement events (see Ms, above), it is only necessary to create one.

To make a measurement for the four Same-Page Stimulus & Measurement Events (see M's in red font in the diagram above), we use the same procedures used in making a separate measurement event, which are as follows:

Click on the Create drop-down menu, select Measurement Event, and then Multiple Choice.

There should be two rows now in the Events Specification Table.  The Instructions support event and "New Multiple Choice Event."  Change the name of the New Multiple Choice Event to "Measurement for SPTM events."

Scroll down to the Instrument Construction Area. Type in the following question:  In your opinion, is the person in the above photograph attractive?"  In the boxes provided set the choices to 5 and limit the response to 1.  Now, type in the fields provided "Very" "Somewhat", "Neutral", "Not Really" and "Absolutely Not."
