Set up Online Access For Pre-Selected Subjects

Now, you are about ready to implement your experiment online. Let's assume that you do not want responders to log on. For this, you need four URL's (Internet addresses) - one for each group.

To get these URL's, click GET URL in the top menu bar of the Edit Protocol Page of the Composer/Editor.

Under "Group," select "Treatment Group 1." Under "Login," select "Use an anonymous subject." Click Generate URL. Highlight and copy the URL appearing in the Generate URL window to a note pad or other document for safekeeping. Repeat this process to generate URL's for the other three Treatment Groups.

When respondents click on one or other of these URL's they do not have to log on and are taken directly to the Instructions page of the protocol. After they complete the questions, the respondents are thanked for their participation and the results are automatically stored anonymously by case number and group.
